Last month, Twitch announced their new affiliate program for streamers. According to Twitch, the affiliate program puts qualified streamers one step closer toward the dream of making a living from their passions.
But what does that mean for the small streamers whose goal is to make it big? Well, according to Twitch, members of this new program will have the option of enabling Bits on their channel with more features to come. Twitch says that they plan on including Subscriptions, Ads, and Game Sales as the program develops.
The Twitch Affiliate Program is currently available for broadcasters who have at least 500 minutes of broadcasts within the last 30 days, have seven broadcast days in at least 30 days, An average of 3 concurrent viewers or more in the past 30 days, and at least have 50 followers. Once your channel becomes eligible Twitch will send you an email, and a notification will appear on the Twitch site.
Twitch requires affiliates to provide general information, agree to the Twitch Affiliate Agreement, provide tax information, and complete the Tipalti form. Twitch currently offers affiliates payout via PayPal, Direct Deposit, Wire, or Check. Twitch also allows for payments to be held while new payout information is specified).
